Journal of Spine Surgery (JSS) is Now Indexed in PubMed Central

Published: 2016-08-04

It is our pleasure to share a good news that the Journal of Spine Surgery (JSS) is now officially accepted for inclusion in PubMed Central (PMC), an extensive and important biomedical online journal repository, and all articles published in JSS will be searchable in PMC as soon as the indexation process is finished. Consequently, authors publishing in JSS will enjoy maximum exposure of their research.

PubMed Central is a web-based repository and retrieval system, managed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information at the U.S. National Library of Medicine. There is no doubt that indexing on PMC will enhance the visibility of articles published in JSS, as abstracts and full articles will be more easily accessed by users.

Launched in December 2015, JSS is a quarterly peer-reviewed and open access publication, dedicated to the field of spine surgery, science and clinical outcomes. Aiming to provide a visible and accessible platform through the establishment of moderated online forums dedicated to the addressed topic from each issue, till now, three issues of JSS have been published.

JSS would like to express sincere appreciation for the enthusiastic and vigorous support and contributions from all the editorial board members, authors, reviewers and readers. With the indexation of the journal in PMC, articles of JSS would receive much higher exposure to clinicians and researchers of the field. Take a new step forward today, we encourage submissions from around the world to reflect the ideas and research work being done from all spine centers.
